Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Create an environment for children's physical, mental, social, emotional and academic development.
• Support Anganwadi workers in understanding and applying the required concepts.
• Focus on children aged 5–6 years and ensure achievement of learning levels prescribed under the NIPUN Bharat Mission.
• Conduct activities related to colours, shapes, sounds, objects, trees, plants, birds and animals for children's cognitive development.
• Prepare plans with Anganwadi workers for activities such as games, drama, picnics, field visits, music and handicrafts.
• Conduct meetings with parents, especially mothers, and regularly inform them about children's progress.
• Guide mothers to provide a learning environment for children at home.
• Prepare child profiles based on developmental indicators and work towards achieving children's development goals.
• Work with Anganwadi workers to create a quality learning environment for children aged 3–6 years.
• Participate in meetings and training organized by the Education Department.
• Work under the control and guidance of the school Headmaster
• Perform assigned work according to the school timetable.
