ONGC proposes to engage apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, as part of its Skill Building initiative for the Nation. Apprentices will be engaged in different trades/disciplines at ONGC operational areas across 24 work centres. The training duration is 12 months for all trades.

Official Guideline
The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in the prescribed qualifying examination. Applications will first be scrutinised for eligibility. A provisional merit list will be prepared trade-wise/discipline-wise and work-centre-wise. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be given preference. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. After successful verification, the final merit list will be prepared by considering the notified vacancies, merit position and applicable reservation provisions. Selected candidates will be informed through their registered email addresses and the result will be published on the official ONGC Apprenticeship website. Engagement will be subject to completion of all prescribed formalities and medical fitness.
