Qualification
• Full-time Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Additional ASNT / ISNT Level-II qualification in UT or MPT is required for the respective posts.
Required Degrees
AM-Mechanical-I (CL/09/26): Full-time Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical).
AM-Mechanical-II (CL/10/26): Full-time Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical) with ASNT / ISNT Level-II in UT.
AM-Mechanical-III (CL/11/26): Full-time Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical) with ASNT / ISNT Level-II in MPT.

Minimum Marks
• UR / EWS candidates and SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD candidates applying against unreserved posts: First Class Degree / minimum 60% marks. • Reserved category candidates applying against reserved posts: Minimum 50% marks.

SC/ST: 5 years OBC-NCL: 3 years PwBD: 10 years PwBD candidates may receive additional relaxation applicable to SC/ST/OBC-NCL categories. PwBD candidates must have not less than 40% of the relevant disability.
Other Conditions
• Training, internship, teaching, academic, fellowship and PhD research experience will not be counted as experience.
• Diploma/Degree must be from a recognized institution or university.
• Sections A & B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India), treated as equivalent to a Degree by the Government of India and recognized by AICTE, will also be accepted.
• Candidates must provide the percentage conversion formula where the certificate or marksheet does not show percentage or first class/division.
• For institutions without a conversion formula, an undertaking signed by an authorized representative is required; minimum 6 on a 10-point scale will be considered as 60%.
