50% aggregate marks. The 50% requirement is not insisted upon for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates and candidates with qualifications higher than Class 12

Official Guideline
The first-stage CBT is a screening test. Candidates are shortlisted for the second-stage CBT based on normalized marks and merit. Shortlisting for the second-stage CBT is generally up to 15 times the community-wise vacancies notified against the RRB. Candidates are shortlisted for Document Verification based on merit and the prescribed qualifying marks. Empanelment is subject to successful Document Verification and passing the prescribed medical examination.
