Bachelor Degree in Any Stream from Any Recognized University in India.

Age Relaxation Details:
- SC/ST: 5 years.
- OBC-NCL: 3 years.
- PwBD: 10 years for UR/EWS, 13 years for OBC-NCL and 15 years for SC/ST.
- Ex-Servicemen: As specified in the notification, based on category and service.
- Eligible Railway staff, quasi-administrative Railway staff and widowed/divorced/judicially separated women: relaxation as specified in the notification.
- If eligible on multiple grounds, the highest applicable relaxation is allowed, not cumulative.
- SC/ST: 5 years.

Official Guideline
• Typing Skill Test: The CBT-based Typing Skill Test for Senior Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist has been dispensed with under CEN No. 06/2026.
• Selection is based on merit in the CBT stages, qualifying marks, document verification and medical fitness. Final appointment is subject to verification of eligibility, certificates and character/antecedents. RRB recommends selected candidates; the concerned Railway Administration issues the appointment offer.

• Capture a live photograph during the application; do not upload a pre-existing photograph.
• Photograph background must be plain white; face must be clearly visible, centered and unobstructed.
• Upload the candidate’s own signature in JPG/JPEG format, 30–49 KB, minimum 140 × 60 pixels, scanned at a minimum of 100 DPI.
• Signature must be in running handwriting using black ink on white paper; it must be clear and fully visible.
• SC/ST certificate for the free train travel pass must be a clear, legible PDF file under 400 KB and valid on the application closing date.
• Provide accurate information and verify it before submission. Account-creation details, including mobile number and email, cannot be changed later.
• Original supporting documents must be produced at Document Verification.
• Follow the specific formats and conditions prescribed in the notification for each certificate.
